Connect Facebook Messenger

Connect Facebook Messenger to AxoDesk so your team can receive page messages, comments, and customer replies in one shared inbox.

Step-by-Step Guide

Go to Add Channel

Settings โ†’ Channels โ†’ Add Channel โ†’ Facebook Messenger. Click Connect with Meta.

Select Your Facebook Page

Choose your Facebook Business Page from the list. If your page is not listed, ensure the logged-in Facebook account is an admin of that page in Meta Business Manager.

Grant Permissions

Accept all requested permissions. These include: pages_messaging, pages_manage_metadata, and instagram_manage_messages (if also connecting Instagram).

Subscribe to Webhook Events

AxoDesk automatically subscribes your page to the required webhook fields (messages, messaging_postbacks, messaging_optins). No manual action required.

Tip: If existing messages stop appearing after connection, check your Facebook Page settings for conflicting inbox apps and remove duplicates.
