Connect WhatsApp Business API
Link your WhatsApp Business number to AxoDesk via the official Meta Business API โ step by step.
Step-by-Step Guide
Prerequisites
You need a Meta Business account with the required WhatsApp permissions, an eligible phone number, and an AxoDesk plan or agreement that includes WhatsApp Business Platform access.
Warning: Meta eligibility, phone-number reuse rules, business verification, and messaging limits are controlled by Meta and can change.
Open Channel Settings
In AxoDesk go to Settings โ Channels โ Add Channel โ WhatsApp Business API. Click Connect with Meta.

Authorise Meta Business Manager
You will be redirected to Meta's OAuth flow. Log in with the Facebook account that manages your Business Manager. Grant the requested permissions โ these are required for message sending and webhook access.

Select or Add Your Phone Number
Choose an existing number from your Meta Business Manager, or click Add New Number and follow Meta's in-product verification steps (OTP via SMS or voice call).
Configure Webhook
AxoDesk automatically sets the webhook URL and token in your WABA settings. Verify that all webhook fields (messages, message_deliveries, message_reads) are subscribed.
Webhook URL (auto-filled):
https://api.axodesk.io/webhooks/whatsapp/{workspace-id}
Verify Token (auto-filled):

Use the Test Message panel in AxoDesk to send a template message to your own number. If received, the channel is live.
Tip: You must use a pre-approved message template for the first outbound message to a number that has not messaged you in the last 24 hours.
